A Very Epic Margiela Retrospective Is Coming To Paris
Belgian designer, tabi overlord and rather invisible man, Martin Margiela, will have a very public moment in Paris next year. A spokesperson for the Palais Galliera has announced a dedicated retrospective to the house's work, opening March 2018.
Martin has been apparently collaborating with the director of the fashion museum on the show — who is a great fan for Maison Margiela, having installed the blond wig coat in the museum's 'Anatomy of a Collection' exhibition — but no hard details have been officially released.
Failing a trip to Paris, there's also opportunity to see the legend's work later this year at Antwerp's MoMu fashion museum where a retrospective of Margiela's Hermè's days will be installed from March 31 to August 27, 2017. Plan C, this:
