Alex Wall (Bleeding Knees Club) Has A New Clothing Label, 100 Percent Zero
A hot girl and a graveyard.
Alex Wall plays in a few excellent and fun bands — Bleeding Knees Club and Wax Witches — and also has excellent and fun projects on the side. His most recent being clothing label 100 Percent Zero, which he started to keep himself busy when his bands weren't touring.
"The whole theme of the project has this kind of dark satanic but still fun vibe, which is kind of what I'm like as a person, and I guess most of the clothes I make is stuff that I want to wear my self," he tells us. "I've only started making beanies and shirt prints so far, but I plan to start making some more items if it goes well." It probably will go well — one of the beanies has already sold out, and with slogans that your mother will not approve of like 'D.A.R.E To Smoke Meth With Satan' and 'Suicidal Hate', these are guaranteed hits for the Tumblr generation.
"Another big part of starting this thing was so that I could take more photos [like his photos of goth girls] and do more design work," Alex says. He shot the 100 Percent Zero lookbook in a graveyard. "I was really into that stuff before I got into music but kind of haven't been able to find time to do lately so it's rad to be able to do that stuff again."
