An All-Access Pass to the 1989 Oscars

Featuring River Phoenix, Drew Barrymore, Patrick Swayze and Lucille Ball.

On the 29th of March 1989, photographer Alan Light managed to get an all-access pass to the 61st Academy Awards. You can head to his Flickr to see all the pictures, but here are some of my favourites - including a 14-year-old Drew Barrymore on a very high-profile date with Corey Feldman, and a wonderful photo of Lucille Ball, one month before she died. Oh, and River Phoenix.
