Another Margaret Atwood Adaptation Is Happening, Watch The 'Alias Grace' Trailer Now

Blessed be.
Fans of The Handmaid's Tale are legit throwing their wings sin the air right now, because another Margaret Atwood TV adaptation is already happening. This time Netflix is picking up the story of Margaret's 1996 historical fiction novel Alias Grace, which just so happens to be a true crime sitch. Frothing.

The story centres on the notorious 1843 murders of Thomas Kinnear and his housekeeper Nancy Montgomery, and accused murderess (and servant) Grace Marks. While the story is based on fact, it does introduce a fictional doctor to spice things up… Since Grace can't remember the details of the death of Thomas and Nancy, local church members assume she is innocent and hire a psychologist to asses her childhood memories and dreams.

Alias Grace will hit Netflix November 2. And, because of a partnership with Canadian Broadcasting Company, it hits CBC September 25.
