Australian Exclusive: James Franco x 7 For All Mankind Episode 4
Lily Donaldson, a house party and the discovery of a body on the beach.
We've got the Australian exclusive on episode four from 7 For All Mankind's collaborative project - An Untitled Film - imagined, directed and shot by James Franco. A series of episodes are gradually being released, which will culminate in a full-length feature film this May that has been inspired by the mysterious death of actress Natalie Wood. In this new episode, 'Looking for Natalie', the story line is furthered, and it follows the cast on the night of Natalie's death. Starting with a classic California beach party with bikinis, beer and a bonfire (and soundtrack provided by Brooklyn-band Habibi), it quickly escalates into a frantic search for Natalie along the beach of Santa Monica. With a cast including Lily Donaldson, Henry Hopper and Amber Anderson, An Untitled Film weaves the Californian lifestyle and its sense of fashion, youth and sexuality into its suspenseful storyline.
James said of the experience "I was able to work in ways that were similar to what I do in the film world but in this case we had a tremendous amount of freedom. We were liberated from the conventional film apparatus and were able to create something both classic and new."
