Backstage at Burberry's SS13 Milan Men's Fashion Week Show
Shiny happy people.
We're going crazy for Christopher Bailey. Burberry showed their SS13 collection 'Come Rain or Shine' at Milan Men's Fashion Week, and while it was quintessentially Brit, it also demonstrated a fresh and forward direction for the London-based luxury label.
SS13 was high on shine — hello, metallics! A heavy metal rainbow of petrol blue, purple and fuchsia, through to burgundy, orange and yellow shone down the runway. Even the classic Burberry trench was given a glimmering makeover. We loved the way that the bags, sunnies and sandals (which still managed to look super cool even when worn with socks) picked up on the metallic-futuristic spirit of the coats, shirts and pants.

Included in their arsenal of trenches and tuxedos came a new Burberry favourite — the boxy bomber jacket, proving that it really is the shape of the season (for dudes and ladies alike).
