Beyoncé x H&M

She stars in the new campaign.

The first image from Beyoncé's Summer 2013 campaign for H&M, shot by Inez and Vinoodh in the Bahamas earlier this year, has been released. The photo shows the 'Bow Down/I Been On' singer reclining on a lounge and looking sufficiently sultry.

In addition to being the face of the collection Queen Bey was also involved in the design process. In a press release, she says that she took inspiration from "the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth and wind." (Presumably the TV show Captain Planet was also an influence).

The print ads will read 'Beyoncé as Mrs Carter for H&M', a reference to the name of her world tour, The Mrs Carter Show, which starts in April. The singer has also recorded a track called 'Standing on the Sun' which will feature in the H&M TVC.

Sunshine, the Bahamas and bikinis? I think it might be time to bring back Sean Paul!
