Burberry Continues Quest for World Domination

Not complaining.

Last Thursday night, Burberry opened its 18th flagship store. Five hundred guests gathered at the brand new Pacific Place store in Hong Kong — the label's largest retail spot in the Asia Pacific region. It features many a fancy furnishing, like an exterior crystal facade (!), which references Burberry's iconic check motif.

The party was hosted by Creative Director Christopher Bailey (who we interviewed for our Digital Issue) and the guest of honour was actress/Burberry Body ambassador Rosie Huntington-Whitely, who wore a ridic dress (Burberry Prorsum SS13, custom-made) highlighting her ridic figure. Carl Barat from The Libertines even performed (great excuse to embed this song):

Always one for inclusivity, Christopher decided to live stream the night across all of Burberry's social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

"It was so fun to have our Burberry Family, from near and far, with us — the night was a magical combination of music, culture, Britishness and all the things we love," he said.
