California Knows How To Party

Win a trip for two to California to attend Coachella 2011!

Coachella is the Superbowl of music festivals. Last year over 225,000 people attended the three-day extravaganza in the middle of the Indio desert in California. This year sold out in under a week, and will see Kanye West, Duran Duran, Interpol, The Strokes and Animal Collective grace the festival with their respective presences. Look at how excited we were when we heard!

Well, do we have news for YOU!

Oyster is very excited to be giving away your dream trip to California to attend Coachella 2011. All you have to do is tell us your funniest festival story (below) and become a fan of Oyster on Facebook, and you could be leaving on a jet plane before you know it.

The prize includes two return economy flights (excluding taxes) from any Australian capital city to Los Angeles (departing April 14 and returning April 18), four days car hire from Los Angeles, one night's hotel accommodation in Indio, two 3-day Coachella festival passes (April 15-18), one tent camping pass, one tent and two sleeping bags - a total value of $12,000!

The winner and their guest must be 21 years of age or over at the time of travel. The competition closes at 5pm AEDST on Wednesday 16 March 2011. See the full terms and conditions here.

In the words of Tupac Shakur:

Let's show these fools how we do this on that west side,

Cause you and I know it's the best side.

After the festival, be sure to check out some of California's other world renowned festivals and nightlife. Find out more here.
