Calvin Klein Women In Film Cannes Party
Diane Kruger, Lara Stone, Naomi Watts, Alec Baldwin and more.
The Calvin Klein party held in Cannes Thursday night housed more celebrities than a Madame Tassauds wax museum. Held in a gargantuan private villa, guests were treated to cocktails and canapés, and the scent of Calvin Klein Euphoria wafting through the breeze.
The event was held in conjunction with the Independent Filmmaker Project and was to honour women in film, a point that was bittersweet considering no female directors were nominated in this year's competition (jerks).
Women were certainly the stars of the night, though, as Diane Kruger, Naomi Watts, Ludivine Sagnier, Shailene Woodley and Jessica Chastain flew the flag — all in Calvin Klein of course. Also in attendance was Lara Stone who was man handled by hubby David Walliams the whole night (who can blame him), Alec Baldwin who is officially the first celebrity that I have truly fanned out over in the flesh, and Chris Rock and Ben Stiller, who look exactly like Chris Rock and Ben Stiller from a movie poster. Alongside Naomi, Aussies Isla Fisher and Melissa George were representing, (I got to chat with Melissa George — who is completely awesome — but I will save those moments for our 100th issue).
I'm not sure this night could be topped, but the week is still young...
