DIY Hair: Pulled Back
Half and half.
For when a high ponytail is just too much but you still want your hair out of your face — the perfect half-a-pony by stylist Shane Henning of of Noddy's On King, as featured in this month's Beauty Daily:
Step 1: Shampoo with KMS California Moist Repair Shampoo and KMS California Moist Repair Conditioner.
Step 2: Apply KMS California Add Volume Volumizing Spray to root area, and then lightly spray KMS California Free Shape Hot Flex Spray all over the hair. Bblow-dry until smooth.
Step 3: Section hair into three sections, the front side sections are taken from the temple area and down to the ears. Pin the top section up and out of the way.
Step 4: Fasten back the side sections to just below the back crown area with an elastic band or tie as you would do a normal ponytail, but on final loop pull through of the hair, only pull the hair half way through to create a half very casual hook in the pony you are making.
Step 5: Now take centre top section of the hair, loosely pull back and wrap the ends around the elastic band on pony. Secure with a bobby pin underneath.
