Evan Rachel Wood Shares Message Of Self-Worth Via Golden Globes Suit
You do you.
Your girl Evan Rachel Wood was just pulled up for the classic "Who are you wearing?" bit at this year's Golden Globes. The actress/angel gave the best possible response featuring a strong message of female self-worth and a shout out to David Bowie.
The Westworld star, who we first fell for via very formative (see: belly button rings and this instructional article), but hopefully not relatable teen movie Thirteen, told Ryan Seacrest:
"This is my third nomination. I've been to the Globes six times, and I've worn a dress every time." She went on to explain that by changing it up she hoped to remind ladies that, despite the dress code, you should wear whatever makes you feel good. "I'm not trying to protest dresses but I wanted to make sure young girls and women know that they aren't a requirement, and you don't have to wear one if you don't want to," she said. "Just be yourself because your worth is so much more than that." Word, sister!

The legend cited Marlene Dietrich, Julie Andrews in Victor, Victoria and David Bowie as the inspo for her look.
See you at the #GoldenGlobes !!
Also...Happy Birthday Bowie.
