Exclusive: Candice Lake x Sportsgirl Behind-The-Scenes
The street style photographer extraordinaire shoots the new campaign.
Who better to shoot Sportsgirl's new street style campaign than street style photographer extraordinaire Candice Lake? Her photos of Hanne Gaby Odiele, Jess Hart, Taylor Tomasi Hill and their contemporaries have been featured by the likes of Vogue, Harpers and Glamour, and now Candice lends her eye to the Australian high street retailer. For its March campaign, shot on location in the heart of Melbourne, Sportsgirl did a public casting with almost one hundred hopefuls turning up on the day. Candice - a former model herself, having walked for Louis Vuitton and Chanel, and being photographed by Steven Meisel and Bruce Weber - was across the selection process, with twenty girls chosen to appear in the campaign.
