Exclusive: Goodgod 'Mary's Basement' Funk Playlist

It's time to get your funk on!

Funk party Mary's Basement is happening this Friday night at Sydney's Goodgod Small Club, and what better a way to get you in the mood than with an exclusive playlist? The party kicks off at 11pm and has an outer space theme, so you can be guaranteed a fantastic intergalactic extravaganza! For only $10! In fact, the stage in the back room will be converted into a spaceship — perfect for breaking out your best out-of-this-world dance moves. Goodgod resident DJs Joey The Saint and Bad Jackson will be your captains for the evening, and Mr. Toni Toni Lee will be doing a late night set live on his 808 drum machine too.

Joey The Saint and Bad Jackson put together this playlist for us which is a mashup of the best, rarest and weirdest funk from the 70s to now. In their words, "Be Real. Get Cosmic. Find Funk."
