Exclusive: Lonely Hearts SS12 Lookbook

'Off The Wall', inspired by Dogtown and Z-boys.

The new lookbook from NZ-based label Lonely Hearts has landed! The SS12 'Off The Wall' collection references Californian surf/skate culture, taking its inspiration from Dogtown and Z-boys. A dark-purple Hawaiian floral print will have you hanging ten, while a childhood nostalgia comes through in the form of a gingham and star print, as well as a tiny daisy on crêpe de chine. As is typical of Lonely Hearts, there's plenty of references to the best hits of the 90s, with empire line dresses, lace and camisoles. An anonymous NZ street artist has created three exclusive t-shirts for the collection — a winner being the shark wearing sunnies.
