GoodGod Small Club
Sydney's favourite 'late night danceteria' is now a relatively early to late night danceteria.
Sydney's favourite 'late night danceteria' is now a relatively early to late night danceteria. Goodgod Small Club's doors will swing open at 5pm each evening and not close until the wee hours of the morning, welcoming post work guzzlers and nocturnal groovers alike.
Located smack bang in the middle of the CBD, Goodgod is something of an oasis in a desert of ugly city pubs. The Tropicana vibe is the perfect office escape. If you haven't visited since Goodgod's sudden hiatus last year, the new fit-out looks amazing. The Spanish restaurant that was once the inconspicuous entrance to the place has been transformed into The Supper Club. The overhaul was inspired by fifties Cuban nightclubs - think white booths, tiki-ish wood, and a smattering of pot plants.
To go with the new look, there's a new punch jug menu. Fresh drops include a house-made 'White Sangria' (a crisp ginger wine with brandy apples and vanilla), the juicy 'Cherry Moon' (a cherry cola with golden rum and ruby-red maraschino cherries), 'The Coaster' (a zesty orange margarita with tangy freshly squeezed oranges and 100% agave tequila) and the dangerously quaffable 'Wild Combination' (apple, sake and Chambord).
