Here ye, oh ye

Our friends Oh Ye Denver Birds have been creating dreamy soundscapes in dingy clubs around Brisbane and Sydney for less than a year now, but we've

caught as many of their performances as possible. Judge us all you want, but believe us, this band is worth trotting around in dirt for. Since June last year, the five-piece has graced the stage with Akron Family, Castanets, Leader Cheetah, Cloud Control and John Steel Singers.

While their live performances are something special, and usually have the whole crowd swaying like hypnotized cobras, their stop-motion video clip for

'Here within Ourselves, Ourselves' is what first turned our heads. Recently, Triple J and Rolling Stone have jumped on the band wagon too, each naming them one of Australia's acts to watch.

On the cusp of releasing their debut single 'Walls', OYDB are doing a short tour of Australia to celebrate. They'll be at Oxford Art Factory tonight (April 23), and entry's free, so if your in Sydney, come and check out one of Brisbane's most auspicious young bands.
