Hood By Air Staged A Hella Dark Show In LA
Hood By Air presented an atmospheric thrash-fest at this year's MADE LA to pretty powerful effect. The dark show had a lot more in common with your average slasher film than the sunshine and rainbow-filled Golf Wang runway that took place earlier that night. As models ran around the room, literally pummelling into each other and the crowd, the audience was forced to engage with some heavy themes usually reserved for places that aren't a fashion show.
HBA creative director, Shayne Oliver, enlisted musician Yves Tumor to perform as models with crusty blood crosses on their faces walked zombie-like across a mound of sand. The collection was also pretty lit with exposed butts, body harnesses and "American Psycho" prints taking things to a brave new world.
