How Did Naomi Campbell Spend Her 42nd Birthday?

Away in a manger...

With a personal net worth estimated to exceed $45 million and a Russian billionaire boyfriend with a net worth estimated to exceed $1 billion, you'd expect Naomi Campbell's 42nd birthday celebration to be disgustingly decedent.

It's easy to imagine a swimming pool filled with Moët, cocaine falling from the sky like snow, a truffle oil waterfall and a literal tonne of caviar — especially considering that, last year, boyfriend Vladislav Doronin bought her a 25-bedroom holiday house shaped like the Egyptian Eye of Horus on a Turkish island. No biggie.

Apparently, though, Naomi celebrated her day of birth in a much more humble style — by visiting the Church of the Nativity i.e. the birth place of Jesus Christ. She traveled to Israel with Vladislav, 15 close friends and six bodyguards, also spending time at the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem. Seeing as there's no photos of the party, we used a little (a lot) of creative license to depict our own version of events above.

According to The Associated Press, Naomi told a Palestinian TV station in an interview, "As much traveling as I've done, I've never come here. I'm happy to be here. Weapons and war, greed and oil... I hope it all stops. I care about health, about good vibrations, not destruction." From the sounds of it, the OG 90s supermodel has grown-up a fair bit since her days of drug abuse and assault charges.
