Jack O'Connell Has Been Cast As Alexander McQueen In Upcoming Biopic

I'm Cook!
Ur fav Skins boy Jack O'Connell aka Cook has just landed a mega role playing Alexander McQueen in Andrew Haigh's upcoming biopic, which centres around the ledge designer.
This is 100% genius casting because Jack's breakthrough work in Skins, and subsequent roles in Starred Up (2013) and '71 (2014) deem him a pretty excellent actor. Plus, he got that badboi McQueen look so down.
The film is based on Andrew Wilson's biography Blood Beneath The Skin and looks at the months that lead up to the designer's last show.
"In 2009, Alexander McQueen put on one of his greatest shows — a stunningly beautifully re-working of his greatest designs from the past 15 years," Pathé film company said in a statement. "It was a show that he dedicated to his mother and one in which he tried to make sense of his life and art. The film explores McQueen's creative process in the months leading up to the show providing an intimate portrait of the man behind the global brand – a moving celebration of a visionary genius whose designs transcended fashion to become art." Huge.
