Jack White Teams Up With Insane Clown Posse

Mozart 8 too.

Jack White has worked with a pretty eclectic array of artists. He gave fresh material to 73-year-old rockabilly veteran Wanda Jackson, forayed into hip-hop for a collaboration with Black Milk (aka Curtis Cross), and lent his vocals (along with Norah Jones) to a Danger Mouse track. But the strangest of White's musical collaborations has to be the one he's just announced with Insane Clown Posse. Yeah, those guys who paint lumpy clown faces over their goatees and sing about hating sluts and itching their nuts, and who actually turned out to be evangelical Christians.

And that's not even the end of the weirdness. Also involved in the project is Mozart. Yeah, that guy who's been dead for 220 years. He might not have had much say in the matter, but he's just released a new track on White's Third Man Records featuring the rap of ICP. We use the word "rap" lightly ? the lyrics "Mozart, dope for the most part / Respected 'cause he knows art" actually sound really profound compared to the rest of the song. But in what's probably the most bizarre part of this wacky musical collision is that the title of the original Mozart song, 'Leck Mich Im Arsch' is actually no less crude than the ICP interpretation. Watch a video preview for the single below:

I was going to follow this up with a small piece about the rumoured video collaboration between Snoop Dogg and Karl Lagerfeld, but by comparison that just sounds really tame.
