James Franco Channels Kevin Federline

In Harmony Korine-directed film Spring Breakers.

You'd be excused for thinking that this is a photo of Kevin Federline before he got fat and went on a shitty Australian reality show. You might be shocked to learn that it is in fact James Franco. Yes, the James Franco. The actor/director/writer/lecturer/Gucci model/erotic fan fiction subject is starring alongside Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Gucci Mane in upcoming Harmony Korine-directed film, Spring Breakers. The movie is about four college girls who are jailed for robbing a restaurant to fund their spring break vacation, and who are bailed out by a drug dealer, played by James.

While he bares an uncanny resemblance to notorious back-up dancer K-Fed at the height of his fifteen minutes, James' character is based not on him but on another b-grade celebrity Riff Raff, known for his role on reality show From G's to Gents. Riff Raff told Fuse that he was asked to have a cameo in the movie, but was overseas at the time so now James is actually playing him. "I sent him a few things. But all you gotta do [to see how I dress] is search through my videos. I got a pretty distinct style, with the braids, the jewelry.... Even though I couldn't be a part of this project, I'm still glad that James Franco could play the role of me."

This is going to be interesting!
