Watch: James Franco's Gay Marriage on Zach Galifianakis' 'Between Two Ferns'
Includes the premiere of Lonely Island's new 'Spring Breakers' anthem, and an Ed Norton cameo.
RiFF RAFF impersonator James Franco is the latest guest to appear on Zach Galifianakis' Between Two Ferns talk show. As he is known to do, Zach Galifianakis asks the hard questions, like, "127 Hours — is that how many hours you look in the mirror every day?" and, "Of all the art projects you have done, what has made people roll their eyes the hardest?"
James Franco says he wants to work with Ed Norton, to which Zach Galifianakis responds with a timeless comeback, "Why don't you marry him?" Funnily enough, James Franco does end up getting married to a man. The interview transitions into the premiere of Lonely Island's new Spring Breakers-themed music video, where Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone contrast spring break rites of passage with gay marriage ("giant sombreros, show us your titties, creatine shakes, marry a man!"). It kind of doesn't make sense but it kind of does — how is, "pranks when you're passed out, jokes about roofies, making girls kiss" deemed OK by the majority of society but gay marriage isn't?
In case you've ever wondered how to pronounce Zach Galifianakis, this educational video should help.
