Kanye West Thinks Out Loud On Twitter

"Perhaps the words BITCH and NIGGA are now neither positive or negative."

Kanye West recently engaged in a lengthy discussion of ethics with his eight and a half million Twitter followers. The question on his mind: Is the word BITCH acceptable? Specifically, "Is it acceptable for a man to call a woman a bitch even if it's endearing?" Inspired by Lupe Fiasco's latest track, 'Bitch Bad', which leads with the supposition that 'bitch' = bad, 'woman' = good, Kanye relates the modern use of "bitch" to that of "nigga".

He even manages to pepper in his own lyrics into the Twitter essay ("excuse my French but I'm in France") and offer up globally agreed-upon affirmations like, "Feelings are the only facts." There he goes, knowing my soul again.

Read it here and decide for yourself — is the word "bitch" acceptable and, if so, in what context?

Thanks for the speech, Kanye, but we do kind of miss the days when you were just tweeting about the acceptability of wearing hoodies with sport coats.

And here's the song that went and got Kanye thinking, 'Bitch Bad' by Lupe Fiasco.
