Karl Lagerfeld x Shu Uemura
He's been using their eyeshadows to colour his sketches for the last 20 years, and now Karl's collaborating with the beauty brand.
Remembering that he has his own wax sculpture, and his cat has two maids, it doesn't actually seem that strange that Karl Lagerfeld uses Shu Uemura eye shadows to colour his beautiful fashion illustrations. The man has so much respect for for the Japanese make-up range that he's been using them for two decades.
The respect is mutual too, which is why the two have come together to create Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura. Available from November, it's one-off make-up line with colours and packaging designed by Chanel's Creative Director himself. Being an amazing photographer has also come in handy, as Karl has already shot the collaboration's campaign.
