The inspiration for the collection comes from Jane Eyre — if Jane Eyre was a Choose Your Own Adventure novel. What might have happened if the iconic heroine had followed through on the plan to live out her days in the South of France, as opposed to running away to freeze on some boring old moors? Well, Kate Sylvester thinks she'd be dressing a little something like this!
Featuring everything from dreamy gowns that reference the turn of the century's version of 'contempo casual', to regal red hunting suits and slouchy, silky pyjama suits. It pretty much spans the range of clothing that any good Victorian lady would want for, whilst living it up in the South of France.
