Kenzo x Vans

High fashion meets the sneaker.
Kenzo

Just when we thought Kenzo couldn't get any better under the creative direction of Carol Lim and Humberto Leon the label has announced a collaboration with Vans. In a day and age where every man and his dog (pretty much literally) are fashionz bloggerz, we are observing an increasing intersection between street wear and high fashion, with the designer sneaker becoming more and more of a coveted item. It's little surprise that Carol and Humberto, the brains behind Opening Ceremony, pick on this, bringing Kenzo's flair to the classic canvas shoe. The Vans Era sneakers are available in two colours in Kenzo's signature chain-link pattern, blue/ white and green/ red. The shoes are yet to be released and will retail for under $100, so you have plenty of time to decide on your favourite colour combo. Fingers crossed the sneakers will also be released in women's sizes.
