Legendary Nick Toon 'Rocko's Modern Life' Gets OG Cast Return For TV Movie

Forever Filbert.
Honestly one of Nickelodeon's best cartoons, and an introduction to both Memphis design and the B52's, Rocko's Modern Life will be back in your face by way of a TV movie. Better yet, the entire original cast is back to voice the thing.

EW reports that the hour-long, one-off special will be called Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling. And, and after 22 years, Carlos Alazraqui will return to voice Rocko, Spunky, and Leon, and the rest will return to their respective roles.

Nickelodeon say that the special will see the slanty squad return to Earth after being trapped in space since 1996. "Rocko has trouble accepting this 21st century modern life, while Heffer and Filburt embrace every aspect of new technology, social media and the endless diversity of food trucks," the synopsis reads. "Rocko whole-heartedly believes that his nostalgia for the past can save him from the tortures of the modern world." Sounds fun and ~relevant~.

Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling will appear some time in 2018.
