Lindsay Lohan, Prophet, Shares Original Poem About Life And ISIS
LiLo, who didn't stop becoming a better human in 2016, has announced her arrival into 2017 with a beautiful work of poetry / excerpt from her upcoming book. The poem appears to be a direct telling of her sleeplessness over ISIS, and how she wants to fix everything with smiles and kisses. Naw.
This is not the first time she has thought about or involved herself in big world issues. In November she spent time in Turkey visiting Syrian refugees at hospital, she appeared on a Turkish television network to praise the country's president, and she told CNN that the way Turkey is welcoming Syrian refugees is "phenomenal" and shared her own story about relating to the Syrian people:
"Losing half of my finger and getting it back was one of the best things that's ever happened to me. If that didn't happen to me, if I didn't lose a part of myself essentially — and I weirdly think about this when I meditate — I wouldn't have stayed in Turkey. I wouldn't have stayed there, and I wouldn't have understood what it feels like to lose a limb."
