Lindsey Wixson, Sky Ferreira for Maison Michel SS12

See the Parisian hat label's yearbook-themed lookbook.

Paris hat label Maison Michel goes back to school in their latest lookbook, which showcases the SS12 collection. The pieces are presented sitting atop the heads of possibly the most beautiful graduating class ever. Each model is awarded titles to complement the headwear featured, like the 'Most Hamptons' (Lindsey Wixson wearing a straw visor), 'The Cool Cat' (Sky Ferreira in a lace and plastic cat-ear mask) and 'The Tom Boy' (Anouk De Heer in a cappuccino coloured top hat).

The Chanel-owned headwear house is led by Artistic Director Laetitia Crahay, who also holds the title of Head of Accessories/Jewelry at Chanel and is herself quite superb. You'll remember the label's flamingo-toned fedoras from various fashion weeks last year on Anouck Lepere and Elena Perminova and their lace bunny ears as worn by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. London-based Australian photographer, blogger and ex-model Candice Lake also counts the brand as a favourite. You will find pieces from the latest collection at Christine in Melbourne, Jean Brown in Brisbane and online at Net-a-Porter or Opening Ceremony.
