London Men's SS13 Fashion Week Review: Meadham Kirchhoff

A 'derelicte' fashion presentation of swag drag.

London Men's Fashion Week is currently underway, and one of our favourite presentations so far has to be Meadham Kirchhoff's.

After a six-year hiatus, the label is back on the menswear scene, showing their SS13 collection in a grand, shabbily furnished apartment adorned with floral arrangements and garbage. One room channeled grunge, with disheveled models and empty pizza boxes, and the other was a neo-bohemian affair full of saris and headscarves. So 'derelicte'. The collection was the ultimate in hipster-hobo, featuring pastel-stained models lounging about on old arm chairs.

The collection itself was sleepwear meets sportswear with distinct Maharaja vibes. The models wore striped pyjama pants with sneakers, and embellished kaftans with ripped knits, and blue eyebrows. One model was rocking a floral dress in an ode to Kurt Cobain, and others had phrases like 'wall flower' scrawled across their foreheads.
