Look Inside Diane von Furstenberg's NY Apartment

See the designer's penthouse which sits above the DVF HQ.

Head of fashion empire DVF, former Princess (yes, actually) and progenitor of the jersey wrap dress, Diane von Furstenberg gives us a look inside her New York apartment. The penthouse sits atop five stories all dedicated to the Diane von Furstenberg label including a flagship store, a 5,000 square foot showroom and event space, offices and studios for 120 people, and an executive suite. Located in the Meatpacking District, the designer's personal living space holds no surprises - it's exactly the kind of place you'd expect her to spend her days living and working yet it still manages to blow your mind. There are several nods to her obsession with pattern and print, the apartment featuring leopard print carpets, vintage zebra chairs and geometric colour block patterns just about everywhere. Along with an extensive photo collage of von Furstenberg's friends and family, the living space also incorporates some amazing artworks including an etching by Joan Mir
