MCA ARTBAR Curated by Eddie Sharp, This Friday!

"Lurid video candy land."

When art collides with alcohol, fun is always had. Who doesn't love the opportunity to be both entertained and informed? AND to show off one's impressive cultural knowledge in front of fellow art-loving babes? We give you ARTBAR version 2.0 — the second event in the new monthly series, in which the MCA asks an artist to curate a selection of art and performance on the last Friday of every month. So that means, it's on this Friday!

This time around, cinema/TV-loving Eddie Sharp will be hosting a night full of inspiring sights, collaborations, talks, live music, and plenty of other cool things. The well-educated folks at the MCA have described his multi-disciplinary work as an exploration of "lurid video candy land", so you know it's gonna be good.

Tickets are $20 or $15 for concession, and judging from the popularity of the first ARTBAR event, you should mos def book now.
