Meet the Models — Kristin Freeland
The Shire's very own Erin Wasson.
Kristin Freeland hails from The Shire and has this very Erin Wasson look about her (which is, of course, an excellent thing). We had a quick chat with her at the MBFWA casting we held with our contributors Mark Vassallo and Yimmy Yayo.
Ingrid Kesa: Hello! What agency are you with?
Kristin Freeland: I’m from Priscillas.
How old are you?
I’m 20.
How long have you been with Priscillas for?
About two years.
So you’ve walked at Fashion Week before?
I have. Last year was my first time.
So you obviously enjoyed it if you’re back for round two...
Oh, hell yeah. It was so much fun.

What was your favourite show that you walked in last year?
Uscari was really fun. They put on this white make-up and dreadlocks, I was basically an alien. It was really cool, awesome clothes.
What about this year — which show do you really want to walk in?
Romance Was Born has the most extravagant clothes I’ve ever seen.
And the shows are more like productions, it seems like it would be really fun to be in.
Yeah, exactly!
Did you grow up in Sydney?
I did, I’m from Cronulla. I’m still living at home, just on the beach, I love it.
