M.I.A. Previews New Song 'Come Walk With Me'

Aside from dropping some beats for Julian Assange and up-staging Madonna, M.I.A. has been pretty quiet since the release of her single 'Bad Girls'. Until now! The Sri Lankan-born artist has gone back to her dance roots with the release of the preview 'Come Walk With Me' from her upcoming album Matangi. If it doesn't make you casually exclaim "This is my jaaam!" we don't know what will. There might be something wrong with you.
Our girl Maya was chilling on Twitter yesterday, when she was all like "Mannnnnnn, days like this i wanna jus upload the songs right now and go climb the himalayas with [son] ikhyd on my back". Which made her followers bombard her Twitter feed until she did just that. And isn't it a gem. The minute-and-a-half video features a bunch of kids, busting out some crazy good moves that no one else would, or should, ever try at home.
In other queen-of-twisted-dance-hall news, M.I.A.'s upcoming autobiography is said to be released this spring, and will be published by Rizzoli. Detailing her early life, the book will reveal details of the civil war in her homeland, her father's political activism and the influence this had on her music. Keep your eyes peeled.
