Miranda Kerr & Julia Stegner's Bally Campaign
Feat. the Swiss alps and a couple of goats.
There are few things that people love more than puppies and Miranda Kerr. With this in mind, Bally has orchestrated something of a genius campaign, which includes both of these crowd favourites, plus a couple of goats thrown in for good measure. It's a very different look from when we last saw Kerr embalmed in body glitter and spray tan in the Victoria's Secret show, this time replacing the $2.5 million dollar jewel-encrusted bra with Bally's sophisticated and minimal designs. Fellow VS Angel and Bavarian beauty Julia Stegner stars alongside Kerr, with Cedric Bihr and Robert Konjic making up the rest of the painfully gorgeous party. Shot by Norman Jean Roy, the Spring 2012 campaign is set to the snow-capped backdrop of Gstaad in the Swiss Alps with Bally co-creative director Michael Hertz telling WWD, "we wanted the images to feel charming and make you smile." There's definitely something wholesome about them, however they do highlight life's great injustice that only Miranda Kerr looks like Miranda Kerr, and that drinking ice tea at the foot of a mountain with male models is, for the rest of us, suspended in the realm of fantasy.
