You guys. TLC. Do you miss them as much as we do? You can prove it by getting down to the tunes of T-Boz, Chilli and Left Eye (we miss you) in the flesh at the next instalment of the only R&B night you ever need to go to; the Player Haters Ball, y'all. The last one Goodgod Small Club held was a Destiny's Child edition and it was such a success (the line went down the street!), that we are more than ready for this TLC-brand jelly. If you've been before, you know the drill. If you haven't, listen carefully: it's $10 and it starts at 11pm Saturday. The lovely soulful girl band Alphamama will be performing back-to-back covers of all your favourites — think 'No Scrubs', 'Creep', 'Waterfalls', 'What About Your Friends' etc. Then, maestros of the decks Levins, Joyride and Shantan Wantan Ichiban will be playing some kind of TLC megamix extravaganza. Shantan Wantan Ichiban himself has made us a mixtape of R&B wonders to get us through the next few days. Compliments of the house!
