Mr Porter Launches The Art Issue
Salvador Dali, Ryan McGinley and the beauty of the high-top sneaker.
Mr Porter have just released the Art Issue of their weekly Journal. With a focus on celebrating high culture and high fashion, the issue showcases the latest Mr Porter arrivals, including three newly launched brands: Aspesi, Saturdays Surf and Miansai. Also in this week's issue is Mr Olaf Hajek, as the internationally renowned German illustrator invites Mr Porter into his Berlin work space.
As the Frieze Art Fair opens in London, Mr Porter highlights the inspiring work of seven creatives making their mark in the art world. The issue also includes a tribute to eight artists whose appearance is as striking as their art, including Mr Salvador Dali, Mr Pablo Picasso and Oyster favourite Ryan McGinley, as well as an interview with Japanese designer Junya Watanabe and a demonstration of why high-tops are the best kind of sneaker.
