Karen Walker Eyewear inspires New York Fashion Editor

New Zealand designer, Karen Walker was the sole inspiration behind the latest edition of New York-based Paper Magazine.

Walker's creative and quirky eyewear collection tickled Paper Magazine editor, Kim Hastreiter's funny bone and sparked their magazine's 'Pretend' theme.

"I was inspired to create this issue's 'pretend' theme when I received a really hysterical eyewear collection from a fun designer in New Zealand named Karen Walker," writes Hastreiter inside Paper Magazine.
"The moment I saw the hilarious photographs of models wearing the sunglasses collection with bad undercover detective disguises, I fell in love."

Karen Walker will again cause a stir at the Big Apple when she launches her Spring/Summer 2009 collection at New York Fashion Week.
