Watch this space

Four designer's names have been plucked from the hopefuls as the Vauxhaull Fashion Scout's 'Ones To Watch'.

The lucky few recipients of this up-and-comer's dream were Askh, Eudon Choi, David Longshaw and Florencia Kozuch. All four will unveil their showcase A/W 2010-11 collections at London Fashion Week's initiative for new talent.

Askh is the work of Ann Sofie Madsen and Katrine Hedegaard, and their designs lie in the space between ready-to-wear and couture creations. From Eudon Choi, you can expect a striking balance between elements of menswear and a more feminine silhouette. This silhouette finds a playful and avant-garde aesthetic under the eye of David Longshaw, who was influenced by his previous work with Alberta Ferretti and MaxMara. The creations by Florencia Kozuch are even more theatrical than her name, inspired by her native Buenos Aires.

All eyes will be on these new names; they are set to impress when they unveil their men's and women's collections at LFW.

Claudia Schiffer's designer ambitions

Following in a seemingly endless trend, super-moder Claudia Schiffer has revealed she is set to play designer on her own line of clothing.

The London-based model who has paced fashions pavements for over two decades, spoke about her fashion ambitions at the recent IHT's Techno Luxury conference in Berlin.
Schiffer told press she was in the process of realising a line of clothing and perhaps a small handbag range, adding that she wanted the line to be classic and timeless.
" I would love to do cashmere. It's something I wear all the time myself, but I'd love to do something a bit more price-friendly."
"I've been in this business for so long and developed my name globally, but I have no product to show for it," she added.
Whilst still on the search for business partners, Schiffer who has recently stared in Yves Saint Laurent, Salvatore Ferragamo and Alberta Ferretti ad campaigns admitted she still wants to continue modeling "as long as possible."
