Oyster Archive: Bambi x Bec Parsons for #92
One of our favourite covers.
Issue #92 was my second issue as Editor. We had a mix of fashion stories in the book but Bambi, shot by Bec Parsons, was the clear cover star. Our LOLita, she was a fresh-faced, futuristic fashion android sipping a Diet Coke in a metallic Burberry jacket and pleated Miu Miu skirt. (As you do.) The bright colours and the glare from the sun reminded me of summer in Australia and the cover is one of my all-time favourites. I love the reflection of the sequins on her dress and the galactic typeface of the masthead.
