Oyster Notes: Sébastien Tellier's Imaginary Online Dating Profile

His ideal date would be drinking Prosecco by a lake at sunset.
Sébastien shot by Xavier Cariou for Oyster #94.

For Oyster #101: Let's Get Digitial! we asked a random selection of people to make up imaginary dating profiles. OK, it wasn't actually that random — we secretly want to date them and thought that this would be a good way to find out what they're looking for in a spouse. You've seen Grimes, Man Repeller and Tommy Ton and last but not at all least is the one and only Sébastien Tellier. You're in with a chance if you like weed and don't have any pets.

Username: Sébastien Tellier (it's my real name).
Quote: Ars longa, vita brevis. [Art is long, life is short]
Age: 37, sad to see my youth fly away, happy to discover the future.
Location: Paris, France.
Profession: Singer. I always wanted to be a composer, author and singer.
Smoking habits: Weed. It's not helping me in any way, but I like it.
Want children: Yes, three or four children would be perfect. I can't see my life without children.
Drinking habits: Prosecco, a delicious Italian sparkling wine.
Diet: Cookies, Orangina and cheese.
Pets: No. I don't feel comfortable with pets. We don't like each other.
Perfect first date: By an Italian lake with a Prosecco bottle of wine at sunset.
Ideal relationship: When you can be yourself without playing any games and just love.
What I've learnt from past relationships: That human beings are weak.
Music: Kavinsky — wonderful guy, wonderful music.
Movies and TV: Masterchef TV show and Brian De Palma (the best director).
Sports: I don't like sport. The most terrible one is the athletic walking.
