Oyster TV: Walking In Harajuku With AyaBambi

Love, angel, music, baby.

AyaBambi are dance partners, an IRL couple and one of the best things YouTube. From their choreography work to their cyber-goth looks and chill personalities, Aya Sato and Bambi's style is both inimitable and cool AF. This unique vision has scored them gigs modelling for Alexander Wang, back-up dancing for Madonna and afternoon strolling with Oyster. Take a walk below.

Lucy Jones: Where did you grow up and where are you living now?
Aya Sato: Kawasaki (part of Tokyo's commuting are).

How has Tokyo changed in the time you've lived there?
It's good, it's convenient to live [here], but we need to change ourselves not Tokyo. It's our turn.

How does the city make you feel?
Gloomy!

What traditions are important to you?
A sense of courtesy.

What dance traditions are important to you and why?
To know myself.

How would you define your genre of dance?
Our style can be found nowhere else. It is what I built in my lifetime, like other people do.

How do you imagine the future?
I live in the moment. I express what I want to at every single second. And I think this will create my future little by little in my own way.

What's the worst thing about the internet?
Defenseless to information.
