Playground Weekender: Sideshows Announced
Caribou! Four Tet! Together at last!
Once upon a time, a young man named David Snaith (aka Caribou) met another young man named Kieran Hebden (aka Four Tet). David had just seen Kieran play at a small music festival in the English countryside, and he decided to introduce himself after the gig. The two got on like a house on fire, David gave Kieran a CD and to cut a long story short - the latter found a label that wanted to release it.
Just over ten years later, the lovely people at Playground Weekender have just announced sideshows for Caribou and Four Tet. Together! Isn't that nice?
Tuesday 15 February - The Zoo, Brisbane, QLD
Wednesday 16 February - The Hi-Fi, Melbourne, VIC
Thursday 17 February - Metro Theatre, Sydney, NSW
Friday 18 February - Playground Weekender Festival, Wisemans Ferry, NSW
Saturday 19 February - International Arts Festival, Becks Music Box, Perth, WA
For an extra-special treat, head here to stream brand-new remixes of Caribou's Swim album, featuring artists like Fuck Buttons and Junior Boys.
