Rayborn

Ray-Ban is revamping its rock image with their iconic Aviators made available in six new looks. The 60-year-old classics are being given a modern makeover with brilliant colours and new metals. Tech-heads will love the light-weight `Tech' carbon fiber frame and for those drawn to the luxe, the blingy, 22k gold-plated `Ultra Gold' with P3 lenses will make their day. Those with cheery demeanors will love the chirpy colours offered by the Metal Glide and Road Spirit glasses (fuschia, yellow or blue). If all else fails there are always the leather-trimmed `Craft' glasses to rock out too.

To celebrate the relaunch, Ray-Ban hosted a rock-n-roll extravaganza with icons of rock music Iggy & the Stooges at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. Trunks of cases lined the rooms for guests to test and play. Aspiring musicians can rock their own pair when the new collection is released in June.
