Rihanna Unzips in Armani Video
Plus Vogue suffers a bad bout of Marilyn Monroe mania.
Armani takes pop star Rihanna as the covergirl for its Armani Jeans and Armani Underwear lines this Fall season. A short video, in the vein of the Film Noir genre, accompanies the campaign, proving that she really is the only girl in the world. Shot by Steven Klein, it depicts the 'Disturbia' singer getting rude (boy) in the backseat of a car, changing from her Armani underwear into her Armani jeans, which have been dropped off by a handsome stranger who she then has rendezvous with in a lift. Smokin'.
Rihanna appears on the cover of British Vogue's November issue, also in a cropped blond wig. And, as Fashionista points out, this shot may seem a little too familiar, considering the US Vogue October cover of Michelle Williams, and the Paris Vogue October cover of Sasha Pivovarova. It seems like the Editors have got a bad bout of Marilyn Monroe mania.
