T by Alexander Wang AW12 Lookbook

Trust Mr. Wang to make a netball uniform look cool.

Alexander Wang is somewhat of a god among men. Even his basics line, T by Alexander Wang, gets it really right. For AW12, there's a sportswear leaning as is characteristic of both his mainline and diffusion efforts. Despite their likeness to a netball uniform, pleated skirts and dresses in maroon and forest green are what we want to be wearing this winter, while boxy baseball jackets also entertain this idea. More delicate, silky printed pieces sit alongside cable knits and leather pants (a Wang signature if there ever was one). And that has to be one of the first turtlenecks we've seen that doesn't feel like acid has been thrown in our eyes when we look at it. In conclusion: Love you A. Wang.
