The Best 90s Fashion Moments In 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer'

These are the chosen ones.
Over the weekend, Sarah-Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan (aka Buffy and Willow) reunited, did crafts, lovingly stroked each other's hair (probably), and then 'grammed it. All the nostalgia feels!

Both of the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer stars wore some very normcore denim while hanging out together in Santa Monica, and while there's sadly no news of an X-Files-style reunion just yet, it got us thinking — and Googling — the most epic Buffy 90s/noughties fashion moments. So we'd like to take this opportunity to celebrate some of the most stellar looks from Gellar and co.

These are the chosen ones...

That time Buffy wore all the daisies and a bad weave.

That time (hint: it was every single episode) Buffy wore mini skirts with knee high boots, and accessorised with stabby things.

That time Willow was really excited to wear a bucket hat.

There is almost too much awesome going on here. Spaghetti straps, beige pants, chokers, overalls and a party shirt: welcome to Sunnydale.

Again with the beige pants. Compelling.

These headbands! Special shout out to whatever these headbands were called.

There is so much 90s in this shot, it's almost like taking a small time-travel trip back to 1997.

Cordelia had two fashion modes. Sassy soccer mum:

Sassy non-vampire vamp. There is no in-between.

Speaking of sweaters, how is this one staying on your shoulders, Buffy? And more importantly, why?

The midi skirt in check print: important.

That time Willow went evil and wore a corset and plum lipstick.

This is everything.

No, wait...THIS is everything.
