the dark side of the moon revisited

The Flaming Lips, Stardeath and White Dwarfs, together with Henry Rollins and Peaches, have covered the classic 1973 Pink Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon - aptly naming it The Flaming Lips, Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing The Dark Side of the Moon.

Covering an album that frequents the pointy end of many 'greatest albums of all time' lists is is a risky move, but the artists tread lightly, paying homage to and modernizing a classic record. While it may not change the musical world in the way that the original did, The Flaming Lips, Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing The Dark Side of the Moon will send you on an emotional roller-coaster ride from start to finish. We're curious to know whether, like the original, this version syncs with Dorothy's adventures in Oz too...
