This is not the museum version of a Celine Dion greatest hits album. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts' Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition opens tomorrow before embarking on an international tour, but this doesn't mean that fashion's enfant terrible is going to produce one every year before relocating his career to Las Vegas.

'The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk' marks the 35th anniversary of the irreverent designer's own label, which he started in 1976 after working under Pierre Cardin for two years - a position he won by sending Cardin a bunch of sketches, since he received no formal training.
